FREE SPEECH – STOP PISSING ON THE 1ST AMENDMENT

Political correctness (on all sides) prevents Americans and humans from conversing the way we need to about important issues. It seems every group of people operates like gangs whose primary purpose is to deny people their first amendment right to free speech. These packs of mind policers can't stop pissing on the First Amendment.

If these trolls, haters, troublemakers and dimwits aren't spreading outright lies throughout social media, they are demonizing the latest violator of their particular politically correct behavior. The Word Police's crocodile tears are typically about as moist as Death Valley Desert. Worse, the constant whining dumbs-down our species.

Political correctness on all sides devalue free speech, the first amendment, morality, facts, reality, ethics, progress, and everything else we should hold dear as a society, nation, and species.

The problem with trying to make a mountain out of every molehill is you become the boy who cried wolf one too many times. You lose credibility because you don't know how to choose your battles. Eventually, people dismiss you as whiny, contrary, temperamental, unreasonable and unbalanced.

If we pretend every single statement or act is the most bigoted, heinous, diabolical act of the century, we can't deliver thunder to wake the masses when we need them. Political and holy crusaders colluded to lull to sleep the fence sitters on the left, middle and right by bombarding them daily with mock outrage.

Sanctioned gangs, whose only purpose is to divide people, clutter civilization. Political parties, overzealous religions, unscrupulous corporations, one-issue interest groups and other organizations are masters at rallying their nuttiest followers.
The competing legal gangs bombard their followers with harsh rhetoric and often misplaced anger every day on Facebook, Twitter, throughout social media, "news" outlets, emails and television.

To my confused brothers and sisters of all shades, I have a departing gift for those in a perpetual state of outrage.

I have a bird for every last one of you who trample over free speech in the name of whatever holy rolling enterprise you represent.

Jerry Beller - Stop Trampling on the First Amendment

We Americans and humans must learn to open our minds. Familiar doesn't necessarily mean good and different can be positive. We must learn to allow others to speak their mind, and to listen before we attack. People must stop expecting everybody to see the world just like them, and decent people of all types must figure out what we're going to do about the others, including the ones who look like us.

Remember when we deny one person's free speech, we're also undermining our right. Besides, the first amendment guarantees even our worst enemies the right to speak their mind. Words aren't a crime, at least not yet.

I'd like to part on two notes. One, I was only half joking about the bird. Two, even though life sucks in many ways, if you allow yourself to occasionally break from the grind, it's awesome to be alive
